Mission Statement

LEAP stands for Loving, Energetic, Accepting, and Prayerful.


The Mission of LEAP Youth Group is to be...

  • LOVING by serving the community, welcoming others into the church, and being witnesses to God.
  • ENERGETIC by serving in the church and participating in group activities and summer work camps.
  • ACCEPTING by recognizing and appreciating individual differences.
  • PRAYERFUL by attending and serving at church, and desiring a closer relationship with God.

February 19, 2017 - Family day tubing at Sunburst ski hill

The youth have had a busy year already.  They had a lock-in in January, They went to Sunburst tubing in March.  They also cleaned the windows in the church offices and cleaned the music room.
On April 18 the youth group donated their time at the Sheboygan house for Habitat for Humanity.
Friday, July 18
 The Youth Group will be hosting a brat fry in the Elkhart Lake Villlage Square from 4-7 pm.  The Vintage Car parade starts at 6 pm.  Everyone is encouraged to support the youth on their brat fry.  All proceeds will go towards the mission trip to York, PA.  This will be their last fundraiser before they leave and they need to make a lot of money yet for the trip. 

Friday, July 25 to August 2
The Youth Group will be taking a mission trip to York, PA.  They will be helping out painting buildings, working with younger children during VBS.  This will be a very rewarding
 time for the 7 youth and the 2 adults making the trip.  

Sunday, October 12
The members of the mission trip to York, PA will be leading us in worship at the 10:00 am service.  They will tell us their stories of their inspiring trip.

Brat Fry July 19
  We will again be doing the brat fry at race weekend. Please help if you are able!

Mission Trip Presentation August 12
  Today in church we gave a presentation to the congregation about our mission trip to St. Louis July 29 - August 4. We also presented our $200 donation from the Brat Fry.
St. Louis Mission Trip July 29 - August 4
  We went on a trip to St. Louis, Missouri through Group Mission Trips. We performed a variety of activities including homeless shelter, nursing home, VBS, residential projects. and Habitat for Humanity. The theme for the week was Rev. 21:5 "Look! I am making everything new!" We all had a great experience; thank you for your prayers. We will be presenting in church on August 12.
