Sunday School

Welcome to Community UCC Sunday School

We would like to introduce our new Sunday School teachers for this year.

Taisha Garr will be leading our younger student class (3 year olds– 4th grade) CLASS A

Tammy Blanke will be leading our older student class (5th-7th grade) CLASS B

Diane Hassinger will be leading our Confirmation classes

Our Sunday School program Centers on faith formation, family engagement and community service. Classroom time focuses on building our relationship with God by learning more about our self and how we interact with others. Sunday School curriculum is through an organization called Spark House: “Whirl” for our younger students and “Connect” for our older students. The curriculum has a weekly Scripture reading with a lesson, art project, game or craft to accompany that reading.

Sunday School will again have “Be In Church” Sundays, so look for our students to help with worship by lighting candles, collecting offering, etc.

As always, parents are welcome to join our classes and see all the great things we are up to! Who knows, you might want to look into teaching Sunday School at some point!
